1. Employee counseling or oral
reprimand: Employee is counseled by the Supervisor following a minor
offense in an effort to eliminate possible misunderstandings and to
explain what constitutes proper conduct.
2. Written reprimand: Employee receives
written notice of discipline following intentional or repeated
offenses. Disciplinary time off without pay may also be given. The
purpose of a written warning is to make certain that the employee
understands the seriousness of the misconduct and that further
misconduct will result in discharge.
3. Discharge: Employee is discharged as
the result of an offense.
SCHEDULE OF VIOLATIONS AND
RULE INFRACTIONS
The following violations will result in
disciplinary measures to be taken:
Theft of property from Company or other
employee. Drinking alcoholic beverages on Company
premises. Using illegal drugs on Company property. Assault on
Supervisor or other employee. Intentionally punching another
employee's time card. Having one's own time card punched by
another. Reporting for work under the influence of alcohol or
drugs. Falsifying Company records. Illegal use of and/or
unauthorized possession of weapons or firearms on Company
premises. Intentionally misusing or damaging Company property or
the property of another employee. Smoking in unauthorized
area. Leaving building during working hours without
authorization. Unauthorized operation of tools, machinery or
equipment. Gambling on Company property. Posing or removing
notices on the bulletin board without Company approval. Disregard
of safety rules. Failure to wear specified safety equipment and
observe safety rules. Failure to report injury or
accident. Stopping work before shift ends or taking early wash
up. Unauthorized absence. Stretching breaks or otherwise
wasting time. Insubordination of refusing a Supervisor's
order. Unauthorized soliciting or contributions on Company
premises. Threatening or intimidating other employees or
supervisors. Failure to maintain productivity
standards. Unexcused lateness. Failure to observe traffic and
parking rules on Company property. Distribution of printed
materials on Company property without permission. Fighting or
attempting to provoke a fight on Company property. Failure to
follow specified job instructions. Inability or unwillingness to
work harmoniously with other employees. Removal of Company
records or release of confidential information. Intentionally deleting records, emails, text messages, answering machines tapes, or any other digitalized transmissions or removing them from the Property by any means. Any other actions
deemed inappropriate by Company
Management.
