available for all openings is the Company's primary policy.
Relatives are allowed to work in the Company but not in a
supervisory-employee relationship. Present employees who marry or have a romantic relationship with another employee will be allowed to continue employment, but not in the same branch. If this
situation occurs, the employees have 90 days in which to make a
change. "Relative" is defined as spouse, parent, child, sibling,
in-law, uncle, aunt, or first cousin.
OVERTIME
Your supervisor must authorize overtime
for nonexempt employees. Such employees will be paid at the regular
hourly rate up to 40 per work week, (Sunday through Saturday). Time
and a half will be paid for all hours in excess of 40. IF a holiday
falls on a work week that you work a Saturday, you will be paid 8
hours for holiday and overtime will commence only after you have
worked 40 hours for that week.
Exempt employees may be expected to
work in excess of the normal workweek without additional
compensation.
PAYROLL
Employees of Master Pumps are paid
bi-weekly and checks are distributed on Fridays. Pay checks are
distributed to each employee by their supervisor at the end of the
work day of each pay period, being Friday.
Because of the time required to process
payroll, hourly employee checks will be for the week that ended on
the previous Saturday. You may request someone else to pick up your
check as long as they have written authority to do so from you. The
work week starts at 12:01 a.m., Sunday and ends 12:00 p.m.,
Saturday.
Overtime is paid to employees who work
over 40 hours in one week and are non-exempt. Exempt employees
include Managers, Salesmen and Administrative employees as well as
officers of the Company. In order to receive overtime in the same
week an employee has a holiday or time off, an employee
has to physically work more than 40 hours. Upon termination of employment your final paycheck will be mailed USPS
