SEARCHES
It is the policy of this Company to
maintain a safe working environment. To that end, the Company
restricts certain items and substances from being brought on or
being present on Company premises. These include alcoholic beverages
and all illegal drugs. If the Company has reasonable cause to
suspect that an employee or group of employees may be in possession
of prohibited drugs or drug paraphernalia in violation of the
Substance Abuse Policy, the Company may request such person(s) to
submit to a personal search. In addition, employees' personal
property and Company property is subject to inspection at any time
by dogs trained to detect prohibited drugs. If prohibited drugs or
drug paraphernalia are found, the involved employee(s) will be
subject to immediate termination. Refusal to submit to a search
shall also be grounds for immediate termination. Employees of Master
Pumps are subject to personal & property searches while on a
customer's property.
The term "company premises" includes
company offices, the plant, all work areas, desks, lockers rest
areas and lounges, parking lots, driveways, loading docks, and any
vehicle, or aircraft owned or leased by the Company, or engaged "for
hire" in Company business.
SERVICE AWARDS
The success of Master Pumps &
Equipment Corporation is dependent on it's employees and long
service is associated with contributions to that success. Service
awards are given to full time employees at five year intervals
throughout employment. Total years of service determines the award.
These awards are presented annually, and are awarded in five year
increments of continuous employment.
Continuous service is defined as
employment without a break in service. Any employee who leaves the
Company and is rehired more than twelve months later will be treated
as a new employee and will not be eligible until five year after
date of rehire has been
obtained. |
