SNOW DAYS AND OTHER
WEATHER EMERGENCIES
It is this Company's policy to continue
operations despite weather emergencies unless the emergency
threatens to make employee transportation to or from work impossible
or dangerous. When in doubt, call your supervisor. If the Branch
opens and is forced to close early because of weather, all employees
who reported for work will be paid. Employees who made no effort to
come to work will not be paid.
SOLICITATIONS
Unauthorized solicitations of employees
and visitors on Company premises are strictly prohibited with the
exception of solicitations for gifts for employees for special
events (resignations, retirements, weddings, births and so forth).
Distribution of materials on Company property is prohibited without
the consent of Management. Employee announcements and notices are
limited to this distribution but are allowed on Branch bulletin
boards with prior approval of Branch Manager.
SUBSTANCE ABUSE
POLICY
PURPOSE: The use and abuse of drugs
is recognized by both employees and employers as a major social
problem. Employee drug use has a devastating impact on safety in the
work place. To help assure a safe, healthy, productive and efficient
working environment, Master Pumps & Equipment Corporation is
committed to have a drug-free workforce. For these reasons,
compliance with this Policy, including consent to drug tests and
searches, is a condition of employment with Master Pumps. Violation
of this Policy shall be grounds for immediate
dismissal.
