b. WORKPLACE ACCIDENTS: In the event an
employee is involved in an accident on the job, whether involving
damage to property or an injury, he/she may be required to submit to
a medical test for the presence of prohibited drugs.
c. SUSPECTED POLICY VIOLATIONS: If
there is reasonable cause to suspect that this Policy may have been
violated by an employee or group of employees, such employee(s) may
be requested to submit to medical testing for the detection of
prohibited drugs.
d. DECLINING JOB PERFORMANCE OR ERRATIC
ON-THE-JOB BEHAVIOR: When a supervisor concludes that an employee's
declining job performance or erratic on-the-job behavior may be the
product of an employee's personal problems, and the employee has not
responded to regular supervisory techniques, the employee may be
required to submit to a medical test for prohibited
drugs.
e. POSITIVE EMPLOYEE TEST: An employee
who tests positive for the presence of a prohibited drug or any
derivative thereof will normally be subject to immediate
termination.
f. POSITIVE APPLICANT TEST: Employment
will be denied to an applicant whose test reveals the presence of a
prohibited drug or any derivation thereof.
2. SEARCHES: The Company reserves the
right to make general or random searches of Company or employee
personal property on or in the Company owned or controlled equipment
and facilities for prohibited drugs or drug paraphernalia. If the
Company has reasonable cause to suspect that an employee or group of
employees may be in the possession of prohibited drugs or drug
paraphernalia in violation of this Policy, the Company may request
such person(s) to submit to a personal search. In addition, employee
personal property and company property is subject to inspection at
any time by dogs trained to detect prohibited drugs. If prohibited
drugs or drug paraphernalia are found, the involved employee(s) will
be subject to immediate termination. Refusal to submit to a search
shall also be grounds for immediate termination. Employees of Master
Pumps are subject to personal and property searches while on a
customer's property. |
