16. Drivers are responsible for
reporting all accidents in accordance with "Fleet Safety" in the
Master Pumps Safety Manual.
17. It is mandatory that an employee
take a Defensive Driving Course if the employee has been involved in
an accident in a Company vehicle under the following
conditions. All drivers are considered completing a Drivers Education course or passed the State Drivers examination as their training on operating a motor vehicle.
In the course of 12 months, if the
fault of the accident was our employee, whether or not the employee
was issued a citation, the employee must take the Course. In the
course of 12 months, if the fault of the accident was not the
employee, then the Course is not required unless another occurs
within those same 12 months. These Defensive Driving Courses will be
paid for by the employee.
CONFLICT OF
INTEREST
The company recognizes and respects the
individual employee's right to engage in activities outside his or
her employment. Management, however, reserves the right to determine
when an employee's outside activities create a conflict with the
Company's interest and to take whatever action it deems necessary to
resolve the conflict, up to and including discharge.
NOTE: It is as important to avoid the
appearance of conflict as it is to avoid the conflict
itself.
Outside Business: No employee can
establish or maintain an outside business interest in a Company that
is a competitor of the Company, supplies material or equipment to
the Company, or provides a service to the Company. This includes
commission arrangements, fees, royalties, property interests or
payments of any kind.
Legal Requirements: No employee will do
anything in the conduct of business that would violate any federal,
state or local law, regulation or ordinance.
Speculation: No employee can speculate
in commodities, supplies or materials, either produced or purchased
by the Company. |
