CLOTHING
1. Keep your clothes in good condition. Loose clothing around machinery is dangerous.
2. If you have logn sleeves, keep the cuffs close to the wrists; but it is suggested that they be rolled above the elbow. Short sleeves are best for most work.
SANITATION & HYGIENE
1. At the drinking fountain, drink from the steam only; do not touch lips to any part of the nozzle or stands.
2. Do not spit on the walls, floor or in the drinking fountains and wash stands.
3. Before eating and before going home, wash hands, arms and face.
4. Do not eat in the toilet rooms or around areas which may have fumes.
5. Help keep all locker and wash rooms clean and sanitary.
6. Throw all refuse in the container provided. Do not throw paper, plastic cups, gum or candy wrappers on the floor.
7. Change work clothing at frequent intervals. Soiled clothing should be cleaned frequently as a health measure.
8. Good housekeeping is important and provides safety.
9. Report any safety and health suggestions to your supervisor.
