FLEET SAFETY
POLICY:
The Company's name and reputation
resides with each driver of a vehicle used for company business.
Therefore, all company vehicles will be operated and maintained in a
safe manner. Common sense, good judgement and road courtesy, as well
as proper vehicle maintenance, are the responsibilities of all
drivers. Preventing vehicle accidents, property damage and personal
injury demand the same interest and concern as our business
procedures relating to quality, volume and cost of
operations.
ADMINISTRATION OF THE
PROGRAMS
The administration of the company's
Fleet Safety Program is an integral part of the company's overall
safety and loss control program. The responsibility of administering
the company's fleet safety program is the responsibility fo the
Corporate Safety Manager, the location Branch Manager and the
individual responsible to location safety.
PERSONNEL/DRIVER
SELECTION
Driving records and capability must be
considered with other job requirements in the selection of company
personnel who may be required to operate a vehicle on company
business.
DRIVER LICENSE:
Each individual who will operate a
vehicle on company business should have a proper valid driver's
license. A check is made to insure the employee has a valid driver's
license. Each driver's license should be checked at the expiration
date to make certain the license has been
renewed. |
